Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance RF Switches and DSA's for automotive and 5G infrastructure applications.
  • Support stand-alone product modules as well as design for multi-chip integration.
  • Collaborate with marketing and system engineers to create detailed performance specifications.
  • Build the company product catalog by identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance to support sales and applications.
  • Offer mentorship to junior level engineers.
Minimum Educational Qualifications
  • S. Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of product design experience
  • RF measurement equipment proficiency with ability to troubleshoot measurements
  • At least 3 products launched into high volume production
Minimum Previous Experience
  • Transistor level SOI RFIC design
  • Solid understanding of current mirrors, LDO, NVG, Digital Design w/Verilog, digital place and route
  • Circuit Design, simulation and layout using Cadence tools
  • EM simulation using Momentum, FEM, and/or HFSS

PA Design Engineer

Reports to: VP of Engineering

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance Power Amplifiers for sub 6GHz 5G Infrastructure.
  • Incorporate best amplifier class and design topology to satisfy power, bandwidth, linearity, efficiency, and thermal requirements.
  • Build the company product catalog by identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance to support sales and applications.
  • Offer mentorship to junior level engineers.
Minimum Educational Qualifications
  • S. Electrical Engineering
  • 12+ years of RF/Microwave product development
  • Design of linear Power Amplifiers for use with and without DPD
  • Manual RF test with: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes
  • At least 6 RF amplifier products launched into high volume production
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Solid understanding of pHEMT / HEMT or HBT device physics
  • Circuit Design, simulation, and layout using ADS or Cadence
  • EM simulation using Momentum, FEM, and/or HFSS
  • Thermal management of packaged integrated circuits

Quality and Reliability Engineer

General Description:
We are seeking a Quality and Reliability Engineer to join our growing Greensboro team. Candidate will help to identify and implement quality and reliability testing programs for new product designs and ongoing reliability monitoring. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a lab environment in a leading and innovative RF IC amplifier company. This is a role that allows a great deal of freedom and flexibility to use your talents to help resolve challenging reliability product assessments. As a young company, you will need to be comfortable with a varying role of testing, soldering, coding and reporting.

Reports to: Quality and Reliability Group

Responsibilities
  • Reliability Testing - Design and/or implement statistical testing for qualification, design validation and reliability analyses. Create and document standardized test procedures. Report results. Guidelines based on JEDEC JESD47 and AECQ100.
  • Problem Solving - Root cause analysis of product non-conformances arising from reliability testing, supply chain or customer concerns.
  • Electrical testing and troubleshooting on bench using applicable electronic equipment such as DC power supplies, RF signal generators, digital multimeters, signal analyzers and data acquisition devices.
  • Prototype Assembly — Assemble PCB assemblies using hot plate, soldering iron, tweezers and microscope.
  • Failure analysis of semiconductor devices to include operations such as IC decapsulation, optical inspection, X-ray, and curve trace.
  • Thermal imaging data collection of semiconductor devices according to procedures.
  • Utilize the FMEA process for risk assessment and design validation test development.
  • Use statistical methods to analyze and assess product test data.
  • Test fixture design and PCB layout
  • System Software Development (Python preferable)
  • Support company ISO9001 Quality System
Minimum Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Applied Sciences — EE (ideal)
Minimum Previous Experience
  • Semiconductor / IC awareness (fab processes, assembly processes) desirable but not required
  • Semiconductor failure analysis thought process & techniques (xray, csam, curve trace, PEM, SEM, FIB) desirable but not required.

Reliability Engineering Technician

Location: Guerrilla RF - Greensboro

Seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Greensboro team. Candidate will help to identify and implement quality and reliability testing programs for new product designs to solve problems and drive improvement. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with others and communicating directly to supply chain, internal resources and customers.

Reports to: VP of Quality

Responsibilities
  • Reliability Testing – Setup and conduct reliability testing, develop and document plans/procedures, and report results.
  • Functional testing and troubleshooting on bench using various electronic equipment such as DC power supplies, RF signal generators, digital multimeters, signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, and curve tracers.
  • PCB Assembly – Assemble PCB assemblies using hot plate, soldering iron, tweezers, and microscopes.
  • Design and maintain production test and biased system testing software
  • Maintain lab test equipment and process tooling.
  • Failure analysis of semiconductor devices to include operations such as IC decapsulation, optical inspection, and curve trace.
  • Problem Solving - Root cause analysis of product non-conformances arising from reliability testing, supply chain or customer concerns.
  • Support company ISO9001 Quality System
Minimum Educational Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree — EET
  • 0-2 Years applied work experience
Minimum Previous Experience
  • Semiconductor / IC awareness (fab processes, assembly processes)
  • Semiconductor failure analysis thought process & techniques (xray, csam, curve trace, PEM, SEM, FIB) desirable but not required.
  • Hardware/Software test system development
  • Manual bench testing with: Power Supplies, Signal Generators, Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes
Minimum Additional Training
  • Basic competency with office software applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Skilled use of electrical test equipment such as DC power supplies, RF signal generators, digital multimeters, signal analyzers, oscilloscopes and curve tracers.
