Ryan has two decades of RF semiconductor experience. His experience includes Director of Engineering at Skyworks, Greensboro design center (which he founded), Engineering Manager of RFMD's Network Components Product Line Wi-Fi front end group, and RFIC design engineering positions in RFMD's Digital Cellular Product Line, Infrastructure Product Line, and Network Components Product Line Wi-Fi group. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Jeff BroxsonVice President, sales
Jeff comes to Guerrilla RF with over 20 years of semiconductor sales and sales management experience. He also brings invaluable experience working with start-up companies, having served as Business Development Manager for Triad Semiconductor, Inc. for five years. Prior to joining Triad Semiconductor, Inc., Jeff was Area Sales Manager for Power Integrations, Inc. and Sales Manager for Beacon Electronic Associates, Inc. Jeff began his career as a Field Applications Engineer and a Quality Control Engineer for Oki Telecom, Inc. He holds a BSEE from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Alan AkeVice President, Applications & Technical Marketing
Alan is an RF industry veteran with over 25 years of design and applications engineering experience. He began his career as a design engineer for Motorola's paging division in South Florida in the mid-1990's. Alan's experience includes RF front end and transceiver design. In addition, Alan has held engineering and management roles within other startup organizations. The last 10+ years of Alan's career have been spent providing applications engineering support for RF Micro Devices, Inc. and Skyworks Solutions, Inc. He holds a BSEE with a mathematics minor from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Mark has over 23 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He began his career at RF Micro Devices in 1997 as a RF Characterization Engineer and contributed to the company's incredible growth. During the next 14 years, he managed Product Engineering and Production Test Development teams in the RF Transceiver and Multi-Markets Products groups. Mark worked 8 years at Triad Semiconductor in the role of VP of Operations. During this time, customer shipments increased considerably with individual part numbers shipping over 10M units annually. He enjoys the crucial relationships collaborating with APAC manufacturing partners and is committed to serve Guerrilla RF customers well! Mark earned his BSEE degree from West Virginia University.
Steven SmithVice President, Quality
Joining Guerrilla RF in 2015, Steven has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace, automotive and semiconductor industries. Beginning his career with Lockheed Martin Manned Space Systems, Steven moved to Tyco International Automotive and finally to RFMD/Qorvo prior to joining Guerrilla RF. Steven is passionate about Quality and has broad technical and management experience in Quality Systems and Product Reliability. Steven earned his Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology/EET from the University of Southern Mississippi..
Billy PrattVice President, Data and Analytics
Billy has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He began his career as a GaAs HBT and Si BiCMOS RFIC designer, and then moved into multiple management roles at RFMD, all related to product development. After 18 years at RFMD, Billy moved to Triad Semiconductor as VP Engineering. At Triad, he led the development of over 20 mixed signal CMOS ICs. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
Dr. John Berg, CPACFO
John has over 35 years of experience as a financial management executive, both in public accounting as well as in industry. John served as the corporate controller of Sara Lee Branded Apparel and the Director of Finance at RFMD. He is a member of the AICPA and NCACPA. John is a North Carolina CPA and has his BS in accounting from UNCG, an MBA from High Point University and an MSA from the University of Connecticut.
Kent SheltonVice President, Information Technology
Kent brings over 20 years of Enterprise Information Technology experience to Guerrilla RF, with a specific focus in Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, and IT Systems. In his previous role, he served as the Senior Director of Architecture and Engineering at Market America, acquiring expertise in E-commerce, APIs, and Analytics. He is committed to driving business value, increasing efficiency, and extending capabilities through technology solutions and process. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Steve SeizVice President, Engineering
Steven has two decades of RF semiconductor experience. He began his career as a RFIC Design Engineer at Anadigics, utilizing GaAs MESFET and GaN technology for the Cable Infrastructure market. After 10 yrs, Steven continued his career at Skyworks solutions, where he designed and led the development of Multi-Mode Multi-Band Cellular handset modules before joining Guerrilla RF in 2016. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University.
Jim AhneVice President, Marketing
Jim brings over 25 years of technical and business experience to Guerrilla RF, with a specific focus on wireless and IoT technologies. He has spent over 15 years leading product marketing and applications teams within the semiconductor industry, serving as the Director of Business Management for Maxim Integrated's high performance RF portfolio, as well as the Director of Embedded Wireless Business Management at CEL. Both roles involved the establishment of new businesses within the 4G/5G cellular and IoT markets, respectively. Jim also has over 10 years of engineering experience designing and defining RF/microwave/mmW systems at Motorola, Nokia and IDT/Renesas. Jim holds a BSEE from Marquette University, an MSEE from the University of Michigan, and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
